Some say that it will be a mixture of young and old, but some want a team of young persons, as the president is also only 45 years old, according to the source. Sources say that B L Santosh and Sunil Bansal are likely to be retained till the 2029 elections, but Chug, Arun Singh, Dushyant Gautam and Ramdas Aggarwal are likely to lose in the reshuffle. Vinod Tawde has already been given charge of Kerala and will probably get a senior position afterwards, a source says. 

Ram Madhav wants to be inducted as an advisor to the PM on matters related to J&K, a source says, but the picture is not very clear for him. Ashish Shelar has already been given charge of the local body elections in Telangana, a source says. Shekhar is also a strong contender to get some important position in the new team, sources say.
