One hour-long meeting between the RSS chief and the CM of UP is not an ordinary event; this has sparked many speculations in the political corridors, a source says. The 2027 state assembly elections are approaching very fast and the BJP high command wants to repeat the 2022 performance if not do better source says. The 2024 results during the parliamentary elections had given shocks to the strategicians and leaders.

The one-to-one meeting between the two is considered to draw programs for the coming elections some say but many close observers feel that the meeting must have a very different agenda for the future of the country though broad programs must have been discussed along with this hidden agenda source says. It must be recollected that after the 2024 elections also such a meeting was also seen between two sources says. The blame for poor performance was transferred to the wrong selection of candidates in 2022 and 2024 but now after the meeting seems the CM would have having definite say in selection also sources predict.

In the coming elections, the state government is likely to face anti-incumbency challenges and the offensive propaganda of the opposition based on the OBC, Muslim and Yadav’s combined onslaught sources say.
