Mid-session, the government decided to hold an all-party meeting to brief members of parliament on the Middle Asia conflict and its effect on the nation. The government, after the meeting, announced that it was held in a cordial atmosphere, and that all political parties appreciated the steps taken by the government, the source says. On the contrary, the leaders of opposition parties say that the government has not answered any questions nor cleared any doubts, including the attack on the school by the USA forces, in which, as reported, 160 school children died, according to the source. The meeting was chaired by Rajnath Singh. The PM was absent from the briefing, as was the case during the briefing meeting on Operation Sindoor, the source says. The TMC boycotted the meeting, saying it's not proper to hold a closed-door meeting when parliament is in session. This has created doubt because no one was allowed to speak openly in the meeting, the source says.
