The new national president of the BJP, after taking over the charge, is in full swing to keep up the tempo of the last era.  Ram Madhav, once a very powerful general secretary of the BJP, was sent into the wilderness during Nadda's tenure and kept himself engaged with the India Foundation Think Tank and the seminar circuit. He has now been given charge of the Bangalore local body elections, a source says.

Though this is only a city election, the party is very hopeful of snatching power from the Congress in 2028, and this will be a test of its ability to go up the ladder, a source says. If he succeeds, the door to join the mainstream in the party will automatically open, says the source. Likewise, Vinod Tawde, one time sidelined in Maharashtra, has proved his calibre in the Bihar elections and is now in charge of the Kerala elections.

The BJP is confident that a coordinated move will secure power in the state, and it is taking every possible step, a source says. If Tawde succeeds in his operation Kerala, nothing will be impossible for him in the coming days, a source says. The observers are amused by these movements, especially the entry of Madhav, because nothing has changed, and HM is still in command. Then how did he enter the central stage? Guess the PM probably wants to give him another chance to prove, says the source.
