Recently, the young senior Congress leader of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot, along with three of his supporters, met the Congress president. Kharge, before starting dialogue, told Sachin Pilot that he should not start complaining about Ashok Gahlot but say something to improve the functions of the party and suggest how the party can come to power in the next elections, the source says. He further added that this may be the fourth meeting, but in all previous meetings, the discussions started with Ashok Gehlot and ended with his references as the only sources.

Kharge opined that the Congress leaders should at least learn from the functioning of the BJP, where the senior party leaders are not judged by the juniors but they follow the instructions of seniors and how the party functions he added. Sachin Pilot understood that climbing the ladder is not possible by criticising the seniors, but by following and working hard for the party, rather than looking for the seniors' faults, the source says.

Just when they were coming out, the phone of one of the members of the delegation rang, and on the other side was Ashok Gehlot, source says. It's learnt that Gahlot was saying that next time when his ticket is not confirmed, he should not come to him, the receiver of the phone was in a serious embarrassing position and could only utter that “Sir I came just to meet the president” source says.
