Congress Loosing Grip In J&K?

The Omar Abdullah led government has been running for the last two years but it seems that the Congress party is not able to get even a single suggestion honoured by the state government, a source says.  The government is a coalition of the NC and Congress and  Congress is supporting the government from outside. The CM seems to have developed proximity with the senior ministers of the central ministry, and while in Delhi meets the authorities and respective ministers to get support for the state development, the source says. It looks like not even once have the NC leaders taken the Congress leaders into confidence for any developmental work or honoured the suggestions, the source says.

Omar Abdullah, the CM and Lt. Governor are at loggerheads, which is delaying the appointment of many important appointments a source says. Some junior legal positions were filled but it's observed that despite putting weight behind some candidates by Tariq Hameed Karra, a personal favourite of Rahul Gandhi, not a single person was appointed, the source says. This all indicates that NC is from behind the curtain sings on tune of the BJP and its senior leaders sitting in Delhi and feels that support of Congress is not that important and probably it is a compulsion for the Congress to extend support to the state government to save areas still having faith in Congress especially in the Jammu area source says. T.H Karra is generally seen in these areas and seldom visits the valley to strengthen the party perhaps realising the ground realities and limitations of the party sources say.
