Annamalai's Future In Tamil Nadu Politics Under Clouds?

Once, the most glittering star of the BJP in Tamil Nadu seemed to become an eyesore for the BJP, a source says. He was the state president but is in an agitated mood after Nagendran was appointed in his place. Moreover against his wishes the BJP has agreed with AIADMK to contest 30 seats only source says. Out of these 30, Annamalai was asked to work for 6 seats, but giving the excuse of illness of his father refused to go in field to campaign source says. 

Despite all these, the B L Santosh is promoting him and says that he is the best bet in Tamil Nadu for the BJP. RSS also likes him because as the state president worked hard to promote the ideology of the RSS to its maximum extent source says.  Recently one of the very senior leaders of the BJP visited Tamil Nadu, and a detailed discussions were held between the Delhi leader and Annamalai to resolve some pointed doubts. The Delhi leader said that you had forwarded names of four most favourable constituencies for you but the survey reports were telling something else. 

The elections you contested were in constituencies of your choice constituencies but you lost the state assembly elections as well as the parliamentary seat. Annamalai as the source indicates replied that he has done everything for the BJP but the party is ignoring him for no fault of his. He also resigned from well settled position in the interest of the party source adds. Perhaps the leader told that you should have  told your desire first, the party would try to accommodate in the Rajya Sabha as and when a vacancy arises source says.
