In a major development, it has been learned from top sources that the selection meeting for the Tamil Nadu DGP, scheduled for today by UPSC, has been deferred on administrative grounds. Sources said that the Chief Secretary and Home Secretary of Tamil Nadu reached Delhi to attend the meeting. UPSC in the selection meeting will shortlist three IPS officers from the panel sent by the state government.
