The Appointment Cabinet Committee (ACC) has extended the post-upgradation of DG NDRF for a period of one year, till 2027. Top sources say that traditionally, the DG NDRF post was an ADG rank, which has now been upgraded to the DG rank. This becomes the third extension/ year in the upgradation of the DG NDRF post.
