Just after a day of announcement of the poll schedule in Bengal and the Model Code of Conduct coming into force, the Election Commission has transferred key bureaucrats in West Bengal:-
1- Dushyant Nariala, IAS officer 1993, batch, has been appointed as Chief Secretary of West Bengal, replacing Nandini Chakraborty
2- Sanghamitra Ghosh IAS: WB: 1997 batch, who is presently posted in the cadre, has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Hill and Home Affairs.
