BUREAURCRACY

Delhi's power corridors were hit with some cooked-up stories recently, in which some UT cadre IAS officers were attempting to stage a power tussle and create a vacuum at the Chief Secretary level. Top sources said that there are no plans to change the incumbent Delhi Chief Secretary. Sources add that it is quite unwise and unsensible as Chief Secretary is managing the administration with ease and comfort" The Delhi Government has a lot to do and currently strategically aligns for long-term developmental goals which are well guided and supervised by the Chief Secretary.
A top source quipped that "perhaps the power games in the Delhi Government began too early this time" This slow-burning drama perhaps suggests that routine political positioning—typically reserved for transitions or policy shifts—may have accelerated unnecessarily, creating speculation where none was warranted.
